The department is one of the few in the city, where almost of all endoscopic researches and operations carried out on digital equipment, which provides the possibility of a detailed examination, which identify the smallest changes and determine their dynamics. Digital technology is allowed to identify cancers with a size of 1 mm. In addition, the department has the opportunity not only to identify such formations, but also to remove them without major surgery. There are such examinations as:
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Laryngoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
Examinations are carried out under local anesthesia, as well as with intravenous sedation.
Much attention in the department is given to safety, sterilization of equipment and tools. For this purpose, modern automatic systems are used to eliminate completely the so-called "human factor" from the sterilization processes.
All doctors of the department are not only endoscopists, but also have specializations in clinical specialties (surgery, therapy, gastroenterology).
